After last year's claim that Modern Warfare 3 Remastered would not happen, there is now new information. Logically, the rumor that Modern Warfare 3 will also get a remaster has been going around for a while now. In 2020, Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered followed, which was a bit of a disappointment because, as the name suggests, only the campaign was remastered, the multiplayer didn't get remastered.
With Modern Warfare Remastered, we already got the first part of the series in 2016, complete with campaign and multiplayer in fancier graphics. So, it's no wonder that Activision decided to remaster the original Modern Warfare trilogy, which isn't really holding up to today's graphical standards anymore. After all, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2 made today's CoD multiplayer what it is today. The Modern Warfare series is pretty damn popular, and not without reason. Modern Warfare 3 Campaign Remastered is supposedly already completely finished and just waiting for release.
